UNSEEN is an experience that uncovers the multi-layered structure of performing arts and the invisible labour behind each performance at PSM (Zorlu Performing Arts Center), one of the largest culture and performing art centers in the world.

PSM has been hosting unforgettable events in the field of arts and culture in Istanbul, welcoming millions of people since 2013. Behind the scenes, there is a magical world, away from the public eye. Apart from the artists we see on stage, there are hundreds of invisible workers supporting each performance. A team of approximately 150 people working non- stop in various departments (planning, programming, marketing, production, technical support, and organisation etc.) ensure that the performances reach the audience throughout the year.

“Unseen” includes site-specific installations that allow the audience to explore the hidden depths of PSM, creating an immersive experience that unravels through the venue’s corridors, from the staff entrance, to the foyer, to the main stage.
