Inside the Artist's Mind
We generally have some understanding of how various professions are practiced and what their daily routines look like. However, we often have little idea of how an interdisciplinary artist thinks and creates.
In a solo exhibition primarily aimed at children—hosted by the art gallery of the Terakki Education Foundation—an artist known for interdisciplinary work brings traces of their practice into the gallery space through a mini-retrospective featuring a selection of past works.
The artist shares their process of thinking and creating with the audience through a spatial installation comprising finished works, prototypes, models, experiments, found objects, drawings, notes, sounds, lights, and shadows. In a sense, this exhibition makes the depths and layers of the artist's mind visible.
